We are a boutique practice of diverse and highly qualified therapists, offering both private pay (fee-for-service) and PPO insurance for those insured by our contracted partners (see below). We price our sessions honestly and responsibly driven by our core values of "maintaining accessibility, quality clinicians, diversity, and affordability for life-changing counseling services". We feel strongly that mental health care should be affordable and quality counseling should be compensated fairly. We’re proud to offer services that are covered in-network with multiple nationwide service plans. We are continuously working on expanding our list of insurance partners to expand our ability to provide effective and supporting counseling.
Rates
Private Pay
Fee-for-service rates are below (out-of-pocket). Session fees are due within 24 hours of each session. We provide monthly invoices which you may submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement dependent on your insurance plan. *Due to a growing waitlist of clients seeking supporting counseling with our group practice clinicians, we charge a late cancellation fee (total amount) for sessions not canceled more than 24+ hours before the scheduled appointment.
Individual Therapy
1:1 Supportive therapy. At times, a partner, family member, etc would be asked to join for collateral and supportive purposes.
Couples Therapy
2+ individuals who are in a marriage or domestic relationship
Family Therapy
2+ Individuals either related biologically and/or socially/personally that you identify as "family".
Contracted Providers & PPO Insurance
We are contracted with CCHP and Aetna and have pending contracts with Cigna and Kaiser (SoCal and NorCal). You may have a copay fee due each session, usually in the range of $5-$30 per session.
Contra Costa Health Plan
Servicing clients with CCHP Medi-Cal and Commercial insurance plans residing in Contra Costa County and who have chosen Contra Costa Health Plan as their preferred healthcare provider
Aetna
Servicing clients with Aetna Commercial plans. We are currently not accepting Aetna EAP at this time. Please call for updates on EAP status.
Fee-for-service
If you'd like to use your PPO insurance, we recommend checking with your provider about out-of-network mental health coverage, reimbursement rates, and any deductible requirements. You can also use an FSA or HSA to pay for services.
